


Established in 2005, J-rock North Promotions Inc. (JNP) is a booking, event planning and promotions company based in Toronto Ontario, Canada. We represent several events and anime conventions across Canada as organizers to Japanese/North American talent, Seiyuu and musical guests. We also assist many organizations with guest bookings, event organization, staffing and running programming.J-rock North Promotions experience and passion for music, concerts, popular culture and event planning has provided us with essential skills and tools that would be useful for the creation of exciting and dynamic events. In 2025 J-rock North Promotions Inc. Headlining the night is UMBRELLA. a Japanese rock visual-kei J-rock band under the Danger Crue Records label.
With melancholy melodies and engaging lyrics over alternative sounds, they deliver them to your heart, strongly, intensely, and gently. A heavy rain warning of sound is currently in effect ,mainly in the Kansai region.YUI, HAL, SHU and SHO are known for their dramatic visuals, darkly poetic lyrics, and explosive performances, UMBRELLA brings a storm of emotion and energy that leaves fans breathless. SPYAIR BIO
A 4-piece rock band formed in 2005 by the original members, the band has gained popularity for its aggressive releases and overwhelming live performances since its major label debut in 2010.
In April 2023, YOSUKE joined the band as a new vocalist.
In February 2024, “Orange” theme song for the blockbuster movie “Haikyu!!: The Dumpster Battle”, remarked over 150M streams worldwide, becoming long-tail hit!!
Their new song “Buddy” has been chosen as the theme song for the Fuji TV drama “Mondai Bukken”, which will begin airing in January 2025.
They will be holding a nationwide tour called “SPYAIR TOUR 2025 - BUDDY -” in seven cities across Japan from May, and they have also announced an Asian tour in Taipei and Seoul in June.
SPYAIR will be preforming and appearing for the first time at Otakuthon 2025. Check the convention schedule for the location and time. MindaRyn hails from Thailand.In the month of November 2020, this artist graced us with her first single, BLUE ROSE knows, which served as the ending theme song for the TV anime series By the Grace of the Gods.Since then, she has sung theme songs for many popular animations and dramas, such as That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Arifureta: From Commonplace to the World’s Strongest, Ultraman Blazer, and others.In particular, Like Flames—the second opening theme song for the TV anime That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (season 2)—has been streamed over 40 million times and is now well known all over the world.She has sung theme songs for many popular anime, and is one of the most popular anime song singers in the world today.MindaRyn’s interest in anime began at a young age, thanks to her father’s influence. The WACK-affiliated idol group formed through the TBS variety show “Wednesdays Downtown” segment “MONSTER IDOL” in 2019. Produced by Kuro-chan, the five-member group consists of AiKA THE SPY, NAO OF NAO, REONA EMPiRE, MOMOTi N GALE, and HANAEMONSTER.The group made headlines by performing at Tokyo Dome just four days after their major debut with Avex, marking the fastest achievement in history. They also won the Best New Artist Award at the 62nd Japan Record Awards. From January 2024, they merged with TONAi BOUSHO, a group formed through the “MONSTER LOVE” segment of the same show in 2022, and began performing under the name MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN TONAi BOUSHO a.k.a. MONSTER IDOL.On January 8, 2025, during a broadcast of “Wednesdays Downtown”, it was announced that Kuro-chan, who had previously served as the group’s advisor, officially returned as their producer. Additionally, HANAEMONSTER rejoined the group, and they announced they would revert to their original name, MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN. The same day, they released the music video and digital version of “Reload”, with lyrics written by Kuro-chan.MAMESHIBA NO TAIGUN will be preforming and appearing for the first time in Canada at Anime North 2025.
