BESPA KUMAMERO BIO

Formed in March 2001. Born and currently living in the Yamanashi Prefecture.

A digital performance-kei techno unit consisting of Kuwadate Azumi, in charge of vocals and lyrics, and Irikura Monkichi, in charge of programming and compositions. They are actively conducting a broad range of activities both inside and outside Japan with a focus on digital-kei events in Tokyo, presenting live performances based upon techno and electro sounds and including various elements such as traditional Japanese dance, sword dance, and machines of their own making.

Starting in 2006 they began to appear in several interviews, articles, and special features in foreign magazines and media in Germany, France, England, America, Russia, and Hungary, followed by a tour of six locations in England in February 2007, a performance in America (Houston) in March 2008, a performance in Mexico (Monterrey) in July 2008, a performance in Russia (Moscow) in September 2008, and a performance in America (Boston) in May 2009 that stirred an audience of 2000 into a frenzy. In December 2010, their original label Rufus Tune affiliated with Darkest Labyrinth to release their 3rd album.

In 2011 they will be making an appearance at Atomic lollipop & Animethon in Canada.
